Annie holds a Master’s degree in Public Health with a specialisation in maternal and reproductive health. Her key research interests include maternal and child health and working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
During her Master’s degree, she has completed a research project with the Global Women’s and Newborn’s Health Working Group at Burnet Institute where she focused on developing a review of systematic reviews and trials on outcomes to measure the effects of pharmacological interventions for pain management during labour and birth.
In 2021, Annie will begin her PhD journey with Burnet and Deakin University, to understand pregnancy and maternity care during the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia.
