Background

Lyszandra is a project manager in our tuberculosis research group in Papua New Guinea.

Lyszandra is currently overseeing the tuberculosis and multi-disease screening project (community adult multi-disease screening or CAMS) for our Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) supported work in Kokopo, Papua New Guinea. She is also the co-lead for Burnet's Women's, Children's and Adolescents' Health program in Papua New Guinea, and manages Provincial Health Authority stakeholder relationships at the intermediate level within East New Britain.

Lyszandra's previous role was senior projects manager and interim projects director at Marie Stopes Papua New Guinea. She has over 6 years of progressive leadership in managing large scale health initiatives. In that role, Lyszandra specialised in sexual and reproductive health and family planning (SRH/FP) programs within donor-funded ecosystems. Her role included navigating complex stakeholder networks, driving clinical quality improvements, and deploying advanced health information systems to optimise service delivery in the SRH/FP space through project management.
