Background
Alicia has worked as a clinical midwife across multiple settings for the past 13 years. Originally from NZ, she has also worked in the Solomon Islands, Australia and India. In 2022 she worked as an International Midwifery Educator in Punjab, India for one year, before commencing her Masters of Public health at the University of Melbourne where she is currently studying.
Alicia is completing her research capstone at the Burnet Institute, looking at global midwifery education.
