This project involves a scoping review to identify and map models of integrated antenatal testing for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B. This is part of our work to support the World Health Organization's 'triple elimination' initiative to end mother-to-child transmission of HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B. A scoping review means reviewing the existing research evidence on this topic.

In this project, you'll review how testing services are delivered within maternal health programs, including:

  • point-of-care testing
  • laboratory-based approaches
  • integrated care pathways.

You'll explore reported implementation barriers, facilitators and outcomes to inform future policy and program design for the prevention of mother-to-child transmission.
