Loukas Tsigaras

Background

Loukas has a background in biomedical engineering and 5 years of experience embedded in healthcare-focused industry projects. His work spans technical systems engineering and multidisciplinary integration in start-ups, through to large-scale implementation projects. As Deputy Technical Director of the Pathway to Clean Indoor Air project at Burnet Institute, Loukas bridges the gap between academia and industry, translating engineering solutions into real-world settings for greater public benefit. His current focus is the design, delivery and evaluation of indoor air quality interventions across public spaces, and what it takes to make clean indoor air available to all, at scale.
