Surveillance Officer | Master of Philosophy (Applied Epidemiology) Candidate

Background

Caroline has joined Burnet in a Field Epidemiology training position as part of the Master of Philosophy (Applied Epidemiology) program, delivered through the Australian National University. She has spent much of her career working with primary and community health care services to implement and enhance systems that improve healthcare service delivery.

She has worked for government and non-government health services in the UK and Australia, and a number of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services in Far North Queensland.

Caroline has a strong interest in health informatics and in using health system data and software platforms to inform the planning and delivery of health services, and ultimately in improving health outcomes globally. This is her first research position.
