Stephanie Levy

Health Emergencies Projects Manager

With over ten years' international project coordination and management experience, further to her work with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Stephanie has supported international public health operational research and health system strengthening activities across the Pacific, South-Asia, and East-African Regions with several iNGOs. In 2017 she was the RID-TB Program Manager with the Burnet Institute's Health Security Team, and from 2013 to 2015 Project Officer for the Centre of International Health, where she supported Ebola/ Public health training for medical responders, a collaboration with the WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific (WPRO) and Red R Australia.

After working with the ICRC in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, she completed a consultancy research study on the Operationalisation and Management of the Healthcare in Danger file, which explored the means and methods employed by ICRC Delegations to protect access to, and those working for and requiring healthcare in conflict and other situations of violence. Between April 2019 and October 2020, she coordinated the Solomon Islands' Medical Partnerships for Learning, Education and Research project with AVI, as well as activities under the Australian Humanitarian Partnerships Program in Fiji, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands.
