Background
Sarah is a medical student from Monash University, who is joining the Global Women's and Newborn's Health team at the Burnet Institute this year. She has a strong interest in both women's health and global health, and this year she hopes to combine and pursue these two passions. Having completed four years of her MD course, this year she will be conducting an honours year looking at the levels and trends of induction of labour across the Asia-Pacific.
Sarah is looking forward to a challenging but rewarding year, learning invaluable skills and knowledge that will stay with her after she graduates and enters the medical workforce.
