Mia Flynn

Research Assistant
Background

Mia is a Research Assistant in the Infectious Diseases Implementation Science working group. Her work primarily focuses on viral hepatitis within key populations, and program design and implementation both within Australia and in international contexts.

Mia completed an advanced Honours degree at Monash University, majoring in immunology and microbiology. Through this degree, she completed her honours project at Burnet Institute in 2022. This project investigated COVID-19 vaccination access and uptake, including demand and supply side challenges within Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, and the Solomon Islands.
