Dr Debbie Daniels

Background

Debbie joined the Antiviral Immunity Group led by Dr Gabriela Khoury in November 2023 as a Research Officer. Having obtained her PhD from the University of Bristol in 2020, she went on to pursue a 3-year postdoc position in Professor Jan Frayne’s group. This research focused on developing erythroid progenitor cell lines as model systems of genetic red blood cell diseases, including beta thalassemia and sickle cell disease.
