West Sepik COVID-19 vaccination advocacy

Past project

Rates of COVID-19 vaccination in West Sepik, Papua New Guinea are very low with community surveys showing high levels of distrust and misinformation about the vaccines preventing many in the community from getting vaccinated. This project aims to address that.

This project seeks to improve community vaccination rates by educating trusted community leaders on the safety, efficacy and importance of the COVID-19 vaccine and supplements the active vaccination program already underway in partnership with the West Sepik Provincial Health Authority.
