Rachel Craik

Rachel is a Senior Research Fellow in Global Women’s and Newborn’s Health with experience in maternal and fetal health, specifically in the implementation studies in low- and middle-income countries.

Rachel has experience managing large pregnancy cohort studies including INTERBIO (University of Oxford) and the PRECISE Network (King’s College London).  These studies ran in a range of countries including Kenya, South Africa, Thailand, Brazil, Pakistan, Mozambique and The Gambia. Their focus was to better understand complications of pregnancy including hypertension, preterm birth, fetal growth restriction and stillbirth.

In addition to these pregnancy cohorts, Rachel has managed many other pregnancy studies at the University of Oxford including the use of AI in ultrasound, developing novel technologies for stillbirth detection and the impacts of COVID on pregnancy.
