Dr Marie Habito is an experienced qualitative researcher with particular skills in participatory methodologies and a background in international development. Marie’s work aims to improve understanding of social determinants of adolescent health and wellbeing to inform evidence-based action. She has eight years of experience working in adolescent health, with a special focus on adolescent pregnancy and sexual and reproductive health in low- and middle-income countries and resource-constrained settings in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
Before her PhD, Marie worked in the Philippines in research and consultancy roles with local and international NGOs.
