Background
Kristen is an epidemiologist with more than 15 years of applied global health research experience in more than 50 countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America. She is passionate about using evidence to improve end-user experiences and make health interventions more efficient and effective. Kristen's work has included research on HIV, tuberculosis, parasitic diseases, and family planning and sexual and reproductive health. It leverages approaches from implementation science, health economics, and social and behavioral science.
Kristen is a senior research advisor at Population Services International, where she has conducted fit-for-purpose research with local and international partners for more than a decade. Her recent projects include market access research for novel contraceptive products, implementation science research on pharmacy-based immunization interventions, and formative research on opportunities for malaria and cervical cancer self-care interventions.
