Katherine Rosevear

Katherine completed her Bachelor of Science and Arts at Monash University in 2023 and is currently undertaking her Honours research project at the Burnet Institute. She has a passion for Microbiology and Ecology and is combining these interests by researching whether an endosymbiotic insect bacteria called Wolbachia can be used to prevent transmission of mosquito-borne viruses to humans in the hope of reducing subsequent disease.
