Jack holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Monash University, completed in 2024. He began his career as a laboratory technician in the anatomy facilities at the University of Melbourne, preparing and maintaining cadaveric specimens for medical education and research. Jack then worked as a red cell reference technician at Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, where he managed rare blood inventories and performed serological and molecular investigations.
