Alex is a Research Assistant at the Burnet Institute, working with the Beeson group to understand key gaps in natural and vaccine induced immunity to SARS-CoV-2.
His work focuses on Fc functional antibody responses elicited through natural SARS-CoV-2 infection and vaccination, to better understand antibody responses and inform optimal vaccine policy. He is part of the Know-C19 project.
He completed his Bachelor of Science at Monash University, majoring in Immunology and Physiology, in 2021. In 2022, he completed an honours research project at the Burnet Institute .
