Shamila Anthony

Project Officer – RID TB


Shamila has a background in International Development, working across International and Australian NGOs focussed on Gender Equality and First Nations Programming.

Shamila has joined Burnet as the Project Officer on the Reducing Impact of Drug-Resistant TB in PNG Project (within the Tuberculosis Working Group).

Prior to Burnet, Shamila worked for the International Women’s Development Agency (IWDA) on their Solomon Islands Program supporting grassroots organisations responding to Gender Based Violence (GBV), Women’s Economic Empowerment and Women’s Leadership.

She has also worked with World Vision on their Australian First Nations Program focussed on Early Childhood Care and Development, Youth empowerment and GBV.
