Doctor Pham Duc Minh

Research Officer/PhD candidate


Dr Pham Duc Minh’s PhD project is built on field testing of the novel Burnet-developed point-of-care CD4 test, the VISITECT® CD4.

Dr Minh’s areas of interest include: reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, health systems strengthening, health system/health policy research, and health financing.

Dr Minh has more than 12 years experience in the field of public health, including 10 years working for the Vietnam Ministry of Health and on the development of health financing policies. Before commencing his PhD at Burnet, Dr Minh served as project director and program leader at different US-based Non-Government Organisations in Vietnam including Management Science for Health (MSH), PATH and Pathfinder International.

Dr. Minh received medical doctor degree from Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam and a Master of Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA.
