Genevieve Martin

Medical Student


Genevieve Martin is a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery student completing her studies through Monash University. Her intention is to combine medical practice with a career in research and teaching. Genevieve is interested in molecular based research, particularly infectious diseases and rheumatology. She is fascinated by the interactions between pathogens and their hosts.

In 2011 Genevieve completed Bachelor of Medical Science Honours degree under the joint supervision of: Professor Suzanne Crowe; Associate Professor Anthony Jaworowski and Professor Alan Landay. Her research has been conducted at the Burnet Institute and at Rush University Medical Centre in Chicago, USA.
