Background

Samson is a Health Extension Officer (Physician Assistant) who recently joined Burnet institute in 2019 as TB Treatment Supervisor Coordinator for Nonga General Hospital in East New Britain – Papua New Guinea (PNG). He is now the Manager for Global Fund TBHIV project overseeing and managing three New Guinea Island provinces - West New Britain, East New Britain and New Ireland provinces in PNG.

Samson is passionate about coordinating and addressing public health issues, strengthening partnerships between health authorities, stakeholders, the private sector and other NGOs by providing technical advice, trainings and conducting piloted projects. Samson is passionate about building community capacity to address public health issues within various communities.
