‘HIV, Ageing and Co-morbidities’ is the theme for the mHIVE World AIDS Day Symposium, to be hosted by Burnet Institute at the AMREP Lecture Theatre on Friday, 30 November 2018.
Burnet Institute Group Head, Retroviral Biology and Antivirals Laboratory, Professor Gilda Tachedjian, will deliver the welcoming address to participants, ahead of the Keynote Presentation from Associate Professor Peter Hunt from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine.
The symposium will bring together and celebrate the key roles of HIV-affected community members, clinicians and researchers and recognise how their partnership will ultimately work towards treating and preventing age-related diseases in people living with HIV.
