Burnet’s Professor Mark Hogarth is Chair of the Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Antibody Biology and Engineering, one of the premier research conferences in the field.

The 2018 conference, in Tuscany, Italy, will present in-depth coverage of advances in the field in an informal setting to maximise interaction on a range of topics including:

  • Therapeutic antibodies;
  • Antibody properties and diversity;
  • Immunoglobulin effector function, and
  • Pre-clinical antibody evaluation.

A major emphasis will be on mechanisms of antibody action in health and disease.

The GRC will be preceded by a Gordon Research Seminar (GRS), designed to further facilitate the participation of graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.
