With recent significant progress towards better prevention, treatment and cure of these conditions, these are exciting times for researchers and the broader community.

However, there are also major challenges to disease control, cure, and elimination, including the alarming spread of drug resistance.

The speakers will share the latest advances from basic science, epidemiology, population health and translational science towards vaccine, diagnostic and therapeutic development.
