International Clinical Research Laboratory (iCRL)

The international Clinical Research Laboratory (iCRL) is one of the few laboratories worldwide with expertise in all aspects of HIV lab monitoring including:

  • 17 years experience providing a service for laboratory monitoring of HIV infection in Australia (HIV Viral Load and HIV Genotyping)
  • A proven track record in evaluating low cost HIV laboratory monitoring tests (CD4, HIV Viral Load and HIV Genotyping)
  • Technology transfer of low cost monitoring techniques to laboratories within resource constrained countries in the Asia-Pacific region since 2001.

  • Until 2015, the iCRL was the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Reference Laboratory for HIV Drug Resistance testing for the Asia-Pacific Region
