Hepatitis B Reports

Burnet Institute is working towards the achievement of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) hepatitis B elimination targets in Australia and globally.

The WHO estimated that 257 million people were living with chronic HBV infection in 2015 and that hepatitis B results in 887 000 deaths every year worldwide.

These policy briefs are designed to explain key findings of our work clearly and provide recommendations for government, community organisations and policymakers alike.
