The objective of this seminar (held in October 2005) was to review progress towards the Health MDGs five years after the Millennium Declaration -- with special focus on the Asia Pacific Region and Australia’s contributions to the effort to achieve the goals. The seminar was held just prior to the third High-Level Forum on the Health MDGs, which was held in Paris, France on 14-15 November 2005.
The seminar was chaired by Dr Jim Tulloch, Senior Medical Adviser, Australian Agency for International Development, former WHO Representative in Cambodia, and senior health adviser to the United Nations Transitional Authority in East Timor.
