Burnet provides technical assistance to ‘developing’ country governments (over the years we have assisted the government of the Lao PDR, Cambodia, Philippines, East Timor, India, Burma, Pakistan, Indonesia, China, PNG and 14 Pacific Island Countries, Ghana, Congo, Senegal, Eritrea and Uganda).
Burnet also provides technical assistance to a range of development organisations including multilateral organisations such as UNDP, UNICEF, WHO and regional organisations such as ASEAN and SPC and International NGOs such as World Vision, Plan International, Save the Children, Australian Red Cross, World Concern and the International Rescue Committee and donor government (e.g. AusAID, USAID and DFID).
This work is done via short-term consultancies and typically involves regional and national policy and strategy development and program development, review and evaluation.
