The Centre for International Health provides effective health development assistance and influences policy in many developing countries within the Asia and Pacific region. The Centre also plays a leading role in the delivery of training and education on international health for aspiring and established international public health practitioners.
It has 117 staff, with 87 based overseas - the majority of whom are national staff working on programs within their own country. Burnet has established offices implementing programs in Laos, Myanmar, Indonesia, Tibet, Papua New Guinea and Mozambique.
