Executive Officer for AusAID�s Women�s and Children�s H

Shaun Liddell joined the Burnet Institute in March 2006. He is currently the Executive Officer for AusAID’s Women’s and Children’s Health Knowledge Hub; a collaboration between the Burnet Institute, the Centre for International Child Health (Melbourne University) and the Menzies School of Health Research (Darwin). Shaun is a health and development professional with over 5 years of multi-sectoral project management experience including research, HIV and health capacity building projects in Asia and the Pacific, including the Papua New Guinea National HIV/AIDS Support Project (funded by AusAID).  Since joining Burnet he has supported Indonesia’s harm reduction program activities and research in to amphetamine use amongst use in Asia, and provided secretariat support to the Pacific Drug and Alcohol Research Network. Shaun is undertaking a Master of Public Health at Monash University and maintains a particular interest in the areas of Aboriginal health, private sector engagement and human rights.
