The Burnet Institute recognises the effectiveness of collaborative partnerships for health and development and actively seeks such partnerships in developing countries, with other organisations in Australia and in other wealthy countries in Europe, America and Asia.
The Centre for International Health undertakes its activities via a partnership approach with other organisations involved in development assistance work. The Centre has a number of collaborative arrangements with organisations ranging from commercial partners to manage large multi-year bilateral projects, through to local or in-country community organisations in the recipient countries to implement the project on the ground.
